There are many different reasons why people decide to make their first appointment or come back to therapy after a break. Individual therapy provides a supportive space for people to slow down and explore, make meaning, work through or work on whatever has arisen or is arising in life.
During the initial sessions, you will have the opportunity to share what is going in life that brings you to therapy now. Kathleen will collaborate with you to create an individualized plan based on your needs and goals.
Kathleen is an EMDR Certified Therapist and integrates mindfulness and meditation and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for clients who want to incorporate any of these options into their therapy.
